Larry King’s retiring after hosting “Larry King Live” for 25 years. Personally, I think hosting anything longer than 7 months is overkill. → twitter.com

Oh Conan! The irony is too much!

"Marry, Boff, Kill"

You know for such a immature game, its pretty fun when you play it. When everyone’s drinking. And with your female friends. I can’t say I could get my “bros” to join in, well I did get Jason to play along but he made it too complicated and he thought to much on the subject. That’s just Jason though, but with Alina and Julie, it was good times. Easy questions at times but fun, I mean I was pretty rapid fire with that game. Every answer was easy and easily came into my mind. I guess I had a better time because I was a guy playing a middle school game intended for prepubescent girls LOL.

On other things; Jason, Austin, and I went camping up Quartz-ville road past Green Peter this past weekend and the ride up there was pretty damn excruciating. For one, We were using Jason’s truck and I was sitting in the back cab with a bunch of crap piled in(lets just say, all three of us failed at tetris) and I couldn’t exactly move my legs around. I’m a pretty tall guy for an Asian so having to move my legs inch by inch for some reprieve was just… ugh. Now I know how those slaves felt traveling across the Atlantic(too soon?). Anyways all the camping sights we did want to get were all taken. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Then we almost got stuck in this devious trap that looked like a promising camp sight but ended up being a fucking death trap. There was maybe like 20 or so feet to back out of this dead end, and may I add that it was pretty STTEEEEEEEEEEEEEPP drop off the side. Luckily though with some team work we were able to back out, though Jason’s truck did start to overheat.

It seemed that all hope was lost, we were so amped to go on our first camping trip of the summer that we noticed this small road heading downwards this winding path. Jason parked his pick up and we went on foot too scout it out, we went further down and saw that the road kept winding and winding, like some snake. We returned back to the pick up and decided to just explore with the truck. MY GOD. What we found down that road was the most incredible campsite. I can barely describe it but it was this campsite centered around this massive fire pit with this GIGANTIC tree in the middle, like some tower providing shade for all. It was incredible, it was right near the river and a bit further down was this incredible swimming hole. I think Austin said it best. That we’ve found our command Center. We found Fortress Maximus.

So yeah, the past weekend was a massive success. Its only the beginning though of our action packed summer.

Note: I need to take pictures next time. Grrrggghhhh.

“I’m totally aware that I’ve never given anyone a reason to praise me for my acting talents. So to sit here and complain, ‘Why don’t people recognise me as an actress?’ would be outrageous. It’s my responsibility to prove that they should.”

Alright now the healing can begin!

NY TIMES: Feds charge 11 with being deep-cover spies for Russia → nytimes.com

inothernews:

In modern-day Russia, modern-day Russia KGB’s you!

In what law enforcement officials portrayed as an extraordinary takedown of a Russian espionage network, the Justice Department on Monday announced charges against 11 people accused of living for years in the United States as part of a deep-cover program by S.V.R. — one of the successors to the Soviet-era K.G.B.

Criminal complaints filed in federal court on Monday read like a thriller novel: Secret Russian agents were assigned to live as married couples in the United States, even having children who were apparently unaware of their parents’ true identities. A spy swapped identical bags with a Russian official as they brushed past each other in a train station stairwell. Messages were written with invisible ink, hidden in the data of digital pictures, and encoded in messages sent over shortwave radio.

The complaints followed a multiyear investigation that culminated with Sunday’s arrest of 10 people in Yonkers; Montclair, New Jersey; Boston; and northern Virginia. The documents detailed what authorities called the “Illegals Program,” an S.V.R. effort to plant Russian spies in the United States to gather information and recruit people able to infiltrate government policy-making circles.

The “Illegals Program” extended to other countries around the world, the charging documents said.

Using fraudulent documents, the complaint said, the spies would “assume identities as citizens or legal residents of the countries to which they are deployed, including the United States. Illegals will sometimes pursue degrees at target-country universities, obtain employment, and join relevant professional associations” to deepen their false identities.

One year huh...

I can’t believe a year has already passed. Its sad nostalgic, yet at the same time I can’t help but smile at this bright blue sky. Nothing ever last so you need to enjoy what time you did have and let it go, for every bird with wings need to fly. Besides the times may change but you still have the memories.
